West Thames College is delighted to announce that Tracy Aust, the former Principal and Chief Executive Officer of the college, has been appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE). This prestigious recognition, featured in the 2026 New Year Honours list, celebrates her exceptional services to the further education sector.

Tracy retired in 2025 following a distinguished career spanning more than 27 years. Her tenure as Principal and CEO of West Thames College was a transformational period for the institution. Under her expert guidance, the college reached several significant milestones, most notably achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating. She was also instrumental in strengthening regional partnerships, which significantly expanded skills and opportunities for learners throughout West London.
